@cronny91@AdrianReyn79551 ..I have a hard time believing these initial details will be finalized. Not hard to understand. Maybe they calculate it'll still be worth it to go through with the status quo but I assume there will be some change in venue, location, time or platform as they negotiate.
@cronny91@AdrianReyn79551 Unfortunately, poor reading comprehension response. It's not about what I want or don't want. It's a business & Netflix cares about maximizing viewership. They simply NEVER hosted a live combat event before 2 pm ET & Inoue's Japan fights have started around 4-5 am ET, hence why..
@lucianolottery@ringmagazine I understand Floyd's team put that out via Fighthype but they also said the fight was off weeks prior to that. It may end up on 9/25 but unfortunately when you pay close attention to what both parties say, they still deliberately use vague wording because it's still not concrete.
@pokerfaceTEE@ringmagazine Unfortunately there aren't confirmed details. Venues, times, etc have already changed several times. Vague wordage like "targeted for", "rumored to be", "in the works", "later this year" are all deliberately used because details are still being negotiated.
@AdrianReyn79551 Unfortunately it really does matter as they mainly care about maximizing viewership. They've aired several fights in the UK & Riyahd but still the earliest start time was 2 pm ET (prelims). Inoue's prelims typically start 4-5 am & main event ring walk 8 am ET. Huge difference
@goat_finals@BillyReinhardt Hart just shot 35% on high volume (5.2 attempts) vs Cavs. He shot 41% for the season and 37% the last 2 postseasons. This postseason he's at 30%. If they sag off him his percentages may revert to the mean, trending upward.
Mitchell factually doesn't get a lot of minutes (14 mpg)
@goat_finals@BillyReinhardt Wemby is an elite defender but Hart will still force him to guard on the perimeter with his respectable shot. I'm not sure how many minutes Mitchell gets this series. He's already a bench big & I assume he'll be used situationally even more-so in this matchup.
@NOPNSPECOPS@BillyReinhardt Castle & Vassell are solid defenders but they're not elite like Caruso or Wallace. Thunder also send waves of ball-hawking defenders in Dort, SGA, Ajay (when healthy), etc. Brunson the last 3 seasons played well against the Spurs. It'll be a good series but they have a shot imo
@lalakersuk@JCowleyHoops In this scenario he has the Lakers sending out draft compensation haha. JCowley is a Bulls fan. This doesn't make any sense for the Lakers and they don't have incentive to do this unless they're the ones receiving draft capital.
@lalakersuk@JCowleyHoops $11 mil contract. There's several comparable if not better players in free agency already that likely won't get that much. Bulls shedding salary but it's not like they even need to. Only way I see this is if they send out draft compensation. Okoro + 15 for Knecht + 25. Not likely
@vinaykillawala Bron also made it known he may take less but the Lakers have to provide concrete plans/list of proven players in order to do so. I think Wiggins potentially could satisfy his criteria.
@vinaykillawala ..have to send out a 1st for him via Sign-And-Trade. In this new draft lottery system 1sts are valued even more & I can see the Lakers opt for a comparable, arguably currently better player in Wiggins (Watson younger w/ potential) w/o having to cough up any assets.
@vinaykillawala Agreed, particularly on Wiggins. Many think it's a foregone conclusion he opts in but I think there's a decent chance he opts out for a longer deal. As much as I like Peyton Watson, several dominos have to fall correctly in order for him to sign w/ LA & they'll have to likely...
@esidery I wouldn't pencil in Wiggins opting into his player option just yet. I think there's a decent chance he opts out, more-so than many are expecting at least.
@24Dparks The last 3 seasons he actually played in more games than Laker's fan-favorite free agent targets; Mitchell Robinson & Robert Williams haha. For a vet min it's a no-brainer.
