Wasteland is building a 3333 supply nft collection centered around characters in a fantasy world called 𝗪𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗. These characters are “𝗥𝗘𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦”

These rejects understand that being different isn’t a curse but rather something special so they come together to build “𝗪𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗” a place where people of their kind can feel normal and loved.

𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗧, 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗦 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧? $WASTE

— Ecosystem token, $WASTE comes next. $WASTE is expected to be spent at the forge.

— $WASTE can be gotten by burning selected NFTs & tokens, not all NFTs. Amount of token gotten depends on rarity, collection, token and co.

— When I said selected NFTs, I don’t mean just wasteland NFTs, collections and tokens outside the wasteland will also be eligible for this.

— The logic behind burning some things for $WASTE is giving things that are somewhat casted aside as “useless” some value which is all wasteland is all about.

— important to note that the burn is permanent. It’s irreversible.

𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗜 𝗚𝗘𝗧 $WASTE?

— $WASTE will be used along side some other things to get rarer items called “RELICS” in the forge.

So basically it’s burn selected NFTs & token ➟ get $WASTE ➟ go into forge (forge materials and then eventually relics)

— More uses of $WASTE will arise as the ecosystem grows.

𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦:
— Collection supply will be 3333.
— Waste land will be launching on the green chain, Robinhood
— Mint date & Price are currently unannounced.
— Wastelist wallets mint up to 3 NFTs in the GTD phase after which remaining supply goes to the public, 6/W

𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗢𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗢𝗡:

— Personally love the art which was basically what made me interested in the collection. First of its kind, never seen it before.

— Team super transparent about use AI, this is something we don’t see in the space, I hope they keep being honest & transparent.

— Also love the idea of burning some neglected tokens and collections to get $WASTE, maybe I can get rid of some of those unwanted NFTs in my wallet finally but I’m curious as to how the collections are selected.

— Although not too much info have been out about other parts of the ecosystem asides the NFTs, I hope the team cooks something else and not rush into mint cause they’ve something good in their hands.

— Personally will be doing all I can to get my hands on a GTD wl, I see potential in this!

How the ecosystem works

The whole thing is built around a simple loop:

Collect → Earn → Redeem → Discover → Collect

Hold your Monkes and you can soft-stake them to earn BANANA over time. $BANANA is the internal currency of the Internet Monkes world
it’s not a token, it only exists to be earned and spent inside the ecosystem.

The main use right now is redeeming Monkes that got lost in the Internet Jungle.

The Internet Jungle is a vault holding 1,200 Monkes from the official collection.

These aren’t available to mint. They’re reserved for holders who want to hunt them down and redeem them with $BANANA.

It’s meant to be a fun collecting experience.
Beyond the Jungle, the Monke Gallery will open up as another space where holders can discover and pick up different Art Editions, expanding the culture over time.

The goal is straightforward: build an artistic digital world that actually rewards collectors through fun, creative mechanics and brings real value back into the mix.

The Collect → Earn → Redeem → Discover → Collect loop is the starting framework for the first months.

The $BANANA system is designed so we can keep adding new activations and collecting experiences as they go.
