Statement by @Conf_of_Pres, representing the major Jewish organizations in America, many of which are based in New York: “Mayor Mamdani has repeatedly demonstrated an obsessive hostility toward Israel that is wholly incompatible with his obligation to represent all New Yorkers.”
Mayor Mamdani has repeatedly demonstrated an obsessive hostility toward Israel that is wholly incompatible with his obligation to represent all New Yorkers. He has neither the authority nor the expertise to conduct foreign policy from City Hall. He must end this dangerous political theater and focus on governing a city confronting serious challenges, including the persistent threat of antisemitism.
Honored to speak at the @israeliamerican memorial tribute to Senator Lindsay Graham this evening at 8 PM.
Senator Graham was a role model of mine—a principled voice who believed in the power of American leadership, coalition building, and the commitment to democracy on the world stage. May his memory be a blessing.

My latest in @Jerusalem_Post: Tisha B’Av is not merely a day to mourn what was destroyed. It is a day to consider what we are responsible for preserving.
Our enemies understand that we are one people. We should not need their hatred to remind us.

Opinion: As elections and antisemitism deepen tensions, Tisha B’Av calls on Jews to preserve unity without abandoning principled debate.

An important conversation in Washington today with Israeli Foreign Minister @gidonsaar and senior leaders of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.
We discussed Israel’s security, regional developments, the U.S.-Israel alliance, challenges facing the Jewish people, and the enduring bond between Israel and the Diaspora.
Sen. @LindseyGrahamSC, 71, is being remembered for his “deep personal connection to the Jewish state and its citizens.”
@Daroff, of the Conference of Presidents, told JNS that the late senator “never had to be persuaded that the security of Israel or the concerns of the American Jewish community deserved his attention.”
@NDiament, of the Orthodox Union, told JNS that Graham “never wavered” on issues that are important to Jews, and “he was a pleasure to be around, and he will be sorely missed.”
Article also quotes @POTUS, @netanyahu, @Isaac_Herzog, @NikkiHaley, @SenatorTimScott, @AIPAC, @AJCGlobal, @RJC, @Ofir_Akunis, @MortonAKlein7, @EMET4u and @cjvalues

Conference of Presidents Mourns the Passing of Senator Lindsey Graham:
We mourn the passing of Senator Lindsey Graham, a devoted public servant, a trusted friend of the American Jewish community, and one of Israel’s most steadfast champions in the United States Senate. Senator Graham understood that Israel’s security and the U.S.-Israel alliance advanced American national security, strengthened regional stability, and reflected the democratic values shared by our two nations.

See my @Jerusalem_Post#July column: George Washington promised that this Republic would “give to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance” —
250 years later, that remains both America’s greatest achievement and its unfinished work. https://t.co/huogEQ7Wua
