@BrettYokom@RoKhanna@Cernovich@chamath@timburchett The bill is toothless posturing.
There is no compliance mechanism.
The GAO can suggest California and New York stop sending citizen benefits to illegal aliens or to dark money NGOs.
The bill has no framework for legal or financial recourse if fraud waste or abuse is found
🔥 HALFTIME IN BROOKLYN! 🔥
The Indiana Fever came to Barclays ready to throw hands, and this one is living up to the hype! 💥
But New York has the edge, 53–49, after a first half that has been ALL GAS, NO BRAKES!
And when you mention Kelsey Mitchell, you better mention 🪣's! 🗣️🔥
KMitch is cooking with 13 PTS on 4-of-7 shooting, knocking down shots with defenders draped all over her!
But the Liberty are answering right back. Jonquel Jones has 17, Breanna Stewart has 11, and New York is shooting a ridiculous 58% from the field.
Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark has 10 points and 2 assists, and the Fever are hanging right there despite New York's scorching shooting.
💥 25 MINUTES DOWN. 20 MINUTES TO SETTLE IT.
Who wants it more?
FEVER vs. LIBERTY — LET'S GET IT! 🗣️🔥🏀

In April, 1994, the Courtney Love-fronted rock band Hole released their seminal, furious, and galvanizing record “Live Through This.” The album arrived in stores just days after Love’s husband, Kurt Cobain, had been found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. A few months later, Hole’s bass player, Kristen Pfaff, died from a heroin overdose. And so, when Love appeared onstage at the Reading Festival, in August, no one knew what to expect.
The Reading show in 1994 was the first time that Melissa Auf der Maur, Hole’s new bassist, joined the band onstage. Auf der Maur would remain with Hole until quitting in 1999, and would later go on to play bass with another set of 90s-rock legends: The Smashing Pumpkins. All the while, she documented life in the grunge underground turned mainstream. “I had two tools: my camera and my bass,” Auf der Maur told Kelefa Sanneh. A new book of her photographs will be published next month, in conjunction with an exhibition at the Art Gallery of Ontario. “In these photographs, you can see Auf der Maur trying to figure out what to make of the swirl of adoration and ambition that had suddenly engulfed her—‘the power of our youth movement being absolutely co-opted,’ as she puts it,” Sanneh writes.
