Venezuela 🇻🇪: people are gathering all over th country today in what are expected to be the largest protests since the US capture of Maduro.

Protesters demand a date for the presidential elections as well as the return of Maria Corina Machado.

This protest was in Tachira state.

ATENCIÓN. La Asamblea Nacional chavista designó a los 12 miembros de la sociedad civil que integrarán el Comité de Postulaciones Judiciales que llevará adelante la renovación del TSJ.

Una noticia muy positiva es que hay nombres de reconocidos académicos y defensores de derechos humanos, como el profesor @GTAveledo o la abogada @Raquelysc, coordinadora de Foro Penal en Táchira.

De acuerdo a los registros de @NoMasGuiso, la gran mayoría no tiene vinculación política. Solo dos aparecen vinculados con el chavismo.

En la alcabala de prevención de la Base Aérea Mayor Buenaventura Vivas Guerrero (Santo Domingo), en el estado Táchira, ayer, 20 de octubre, aprox. a las 19:30 hrs, el soldado RAYMOND PAZ accionó su armamento orgánico contra el personal militar que se encontraba en el lugar.

@JosJos037115169 More likely fragmentation damage from a HARM anti radiation missile, this vehicle appears to only have been hit by shrapnel so was likely parked nearby a destroyed radar

It looks like the command vehicle most likely from Altos de Irapa where the JH-12 radar was targeted by US strikes in January 3rd.
Altos de Irapa was the only example of Venezuelan radars being struck on January 3rd.

During Christmas leave in 2025, GNB and other FANB personnel had to sign these letters for their leave to be authorised.
This one dated December 28th states that any personnel on leave must be able to return to their base immediately in the event of any ‘irregular situation’.

Currently no further information is available but occasional clashes between ELN forces moving through the border regions and GNB/FANB patrols is not completely out of the ordinary.

@LatamSmallArms Yeah, until now I never actually saw the drone, just the footage from it. Appears they were acquired after the issues in Apure in 2021, the Russians there were using their own Orlans, presumably FANB/DGCIM decided they needed something like that for themselves.
