@Delta if your customer service goal is to blame loyal customers for an error on your end bravo. Just frustrate them until they don't want to have the issue resolved anymore.

Just sat on hold for an hour with @delta then was gaslit by a manager who claimed he could do nothing but cancel the ticket without a refund. Even tho I paid an extra $850 to upgrade the reservation it "only was an upgrade for one flight" even tho that's not what's advertised.

Offer reservation upgrade. Don't allow customer to select seats when multiple are available. Say upgrade wasn't really an upgrade later. Put customer in a worse seat than they would have picked from what was available in economy. Blame customer. Makes sense.

#RalphYarl. My goodness…let’s be for justice, which is a continuum. That means the man who did this should be charged AND we need to work for the legislative and heart change to prevent these tragedies.
