@essity - the old packaging for this product mentions geothermal - and the new packet has the same mark. So has this product been using geothermal all along?
#greenwashing or actual progress? 🤔
Australia's road toll heading in the wrong direction
Research shows larger vehicles, especially with higher bonnets, increase risks for vulnerable road users (VRUs) like pedestrians and cyclists - and that particularly includes children and the elderly

As I state in this Guardian article: “WA Labor had been more focused on supporting expanded fossil fuel developments – ie Woodside’s North-West Shelf gas exporting facility – than on ensuring a rapid expansion of renewable energy”. Foot off the hose please https://t.co/OckzwYqETg
Thank you America, thank you for your support, thank you for this visit. Thank you @POTUS, Congress, and the American people.
Ukraine needs just and lasting peace, and we are working exactly for that.
@robrobdean Good points. I’d still like to add LDV could’ve sold their electric Ute so damn well if they priced it appropriately - makes the wasted opportunity of the cybertruck irrelevant by comparison?
@ProfRayWills@P_bogan I’ll post some photos below. Been meaning to ask about shelter at our Shire meetings…The idea was to put bus stops in the CBD as part of the Esperance public transport program and utilise the exisiting school bus stops in the suburbs. All they’ve done so far is concrete slabs
@P_bogan@ProfRayWills The PTA did a bus trial in Esperance but it’s fundamentally flawed. Now they’re installing bus stops all through town… without shelter… great places that you really wanna be while waiting for a bus, especially in summer on 30+° days…
This is common. Almost all anti EV people and those who spread disinformation on EV have never driven or owned one. They parrot FUD. Get facts.. test drive and talk to actual EV owners!
Car makers generally focus on bigger markets first
Australian vehicle market lags 12 to 18 months
Aus BEV share
1.7% 2021
3.4% 2022
7.5% 2023
7.6% 2024
AUS BEV sales share likely to catchup from lag,
surge to ~12% 2025 @FSS_Au
BEV outsell ICE as soon as 2027, not later 2030
Telegraph: “there aren’t enough EV chargers!”
Gov and industry: “ok, we’ll build lots more chargers”
Telegraph: “stop building EV chargers because, erm, potholes!”
(Article doesn’t cite any evidence that building more chargers will result in more potholes)
We’re seeing the state capture of political parties by fossil fuel companies. They’re putting short term profits ahead of protecting the people and places we love.
We need the moral courage to end this and legislate a duty of care to young people.
