Hmmm now why does this feel familiar.....
Is Kuro games intentionally trying to torture both Aemeath and Phrolova fans at the same time? I guess we'll never know #Aemeath#Phrolova#WutheringWaves
be honest:
Since when did Red bull arrive in our little neck of the woods? Won't lie though, I would kill for a Free Livery Skin of Red Bull in @Wuthering_Waves, anyways onward to 3.5!!

Now that the update is live, let's make this official! YES I'm back as Lucy in the Edgerunners x Wuwa collab! Super grateful to be able to breathe life into her once again. Fun fact - the English VO was actually recorded before the other languages on this one - we worked hard!

50/50 was kept since the amount of people who invested and kept earned astrities. Kuro rewards players who play dedicated and casual people suffer. Which is why PGR lacks 50/50 system for their collab, PGR is majority kuro fanbase, not mixed with mainstream. #wuwa#wutheringwaves
Litterally them and many others are making valid points on why this collab is designed the way it is and its valid:
Many people who are casuals assume they can do anything, and suffer as a result. Now adding on to what they've mentioned at the end, about why they kept the 50/50..
My honest thoughts on the upcoming Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk Edgerunners collab
1. Why can’t we use golden balls and why did Kuro not give a warning?
- If you converted your astrites to golden balls, that’s on you. And why did you even convert it in the first place when the astrites can even be used on both char and weapon banner? I’m sorry but this is a hard lesson learned for you and you can’t really blame the game for the practices you’ve learned from other games that you have applied to wuwa. Besides, some leakers have already been giving warnings to not convert. If you missed it, then buddy i’m sorry but that’s still not enough reason to blame the game.
2. Why does it only last a month? Why not a year or more than a month?
- Wouldn’t that cause any fatigue to players? Imagine seeing the same thing for a year. Even if you love both of them it might still give that fatigue feeling. I get that it gives players more time to pull but why would you need more time to pull when the collab was already announced a year ago? That should’ve been a lot of time to save up am I wrong? Additionally, it loses its “limited” ability. The point of a collab is to make something special accessible on a short period of time. Idk but for me, one month seems reasonable time already.
3. Why didn’t they put a new map for the collab? It’s just somnoire!
- In the first place, is cyberpunk part of the wuwa lore? It’s not right? So why would you expect them to weave it completely to the original plot by asking them for an entirely new map? And even if it’s just somnoire, it’s still a new place. Maybe not as big as anyone would expect, but they still delivered something new.
4. Why is there 50/50? Why does wuwa want a lot of money?
- It’s still business at the end of the day. Both sides would probably still need to profit since it is a collab after all. But I agree the 50/50 could’ve been done much better. I was thinking they could remove the 50/50 on the first 80 pulls so everyone is guaranteed Lucy, then if anyone wants dups then the 50/50 will trigger. If they want to make up for the loss (i doubt there’d be any) of losing the 1st 50/50 for a guaranteed, they can set up something like the moonlit path again and put other collab collectibles in game so more players can get excited to top up for the game. Imagine a limited cyberpunk motorbike after idk $50? But since the event seems finalized already, i guess all we can do is either enjoy it or suck it up, depending on how you take it ofc.
5. Why did they change the 50/50 when they did not do it in PGR?
- Idk, beats me. Maybe bc both are still different entities at the end of the day even if they’re from the same company? Different teams, management, and setup — there will be differences in the end. While It’s definitely disappointing, I see this more as an “expectation vs reality” moment. We can blame the game all we want, but all we can do is hope they consider the same mechanics the next time.
Again, this is my personal take as i’ve been seeing a lot of varied feedbacks about the upcoming collab. I’m not forcing my thoughts on anyone and I understand if this may not resonate with everyone.
Overall, i’m happy with how the collab is looking. The characters are very well made, the marketing seems sufficient, the events seem promising, and the rewards/freebies are reasonable but there is definitely room for improvement. I just wish Kuro will see through the good feedbacks more than the unnecessary noise.
