I no longer believe human reviewers exist at YouTube. Here’s why:

An old, inactive channel I hadn’t touched in years was flagged for “inauthentic content” in January. (“AI” didn’t even exist when I uploaded to that channel!) I deleted it because I no longer wanted or needed it.

As a direct result, all of my active channels were demonetized — not for any violation on those channels, but solely for “association” with the deleted one.

It’s now been 92 days. I’ve received zero human review, only repeated AI denials. The system now says my channels can’t be monetized until the deleted channel is “admitted” back into the YouTube Partner Program.

That’s impossible. A deleted channel cannot be reinstated or monetized.

This is a permanent block caused by a clear error. A human reviewer using basic common sense could fix this in minutes.

If human reviewers truly exist, please have one review my case.

A parasite that has been eating people for 3,500 years is about to be wiped off the planet. It infected 3.5 million people in 1986. Last year, it infected 10. And I have not seen it make a single front page.

It is called Guinea worm. You drink contaminated water from a pond in a poor village. A year later, a worm up to three feet long starts coming out of your leg through a burning blister. There is no pill that stops it and no surgery that works. You wrap the worm around a stick and pull it out slowly, over days or weeks, inch by inch. If you rush, the worm breaks inside you and causes a fresh infection.

Guinea worm is ancient. Preserved worms have been pulled out of Egyptian mummies from around 1000 BCE. The Ebers Papyrus, an Egyptian medical scroll from 1550 BCE, describes pulling the worm out with a stick. For three and a half thousand years, that was the best humans could do.

Then in 1986, public health workers decided to kill the parasite off. They had no vaccine and no drug. What they had was cheap cloth water filters and a small army of volunteers willing to walk from village to village for decades.

The plan was simple. Give everyone who drinks from a pond a cloth filter to strain out the tiny water fleas that spread the parasite. Then send volunteers walking house to house, year after year, teaching people how to use the filters and keeping anyone with an emerging worm out of the water.

It worked. From 3.5 million cases a year to 10. Four were in Chad, four in Ethiopia, two in South Sudan. The other four countries where the worm used to be common, Angola, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, and Mali, had zero human cases for the second year in a row. The World Health Organization has already certified 200 countries as Guinea worm free. Six are left.

The last hurdle is dogs. Cameroon had 445 infected animals last year and Chad had 147, so a lot of the remaining work is on animals, not humans. Strays get leashed, and crews treat ponds to kill any remaining worms. The campaign keeps watching until the number hits zero.

When Guinea worm hits zero, it becomes the second human disease ever erased from the planet. The first was smallpox. It will also be the first parasite humans have ever wiped out, and the first disease ever ended without a single dose of medicine. Volunteers walked village to village with cloth filters for 40 years. Now a plague from the age of the pharaohs is about to be gone.

10 years ago if I needed to find an individual who provided a specific or niche service, I could just Google it and find someone's dopey little personal website and I'd give them a call.

Now for every niche service there's 5 different aggregate websites with accompanying app I have to sign up for and log-in to and verify my e-mail with and receive a text code and fill out a 10 minute form about what I'm looking for specifically and I have to use their cursed little in-app chat to contact anyone and the demonic website/app ends up taking 25% commission every time I book someone and all the top matches are not individuals anyway but organizations where THEY have their own fucking system for soullessly matching me with one of their employees and they'll endlessly text me trying to convince me that they're the perfect fit for me if I'm looking for a DIFFERENT service I didn't ask for in the fucking 10 minute form THEY asked me to fill out! And all I get out of this whole tired ordeal is more spam in my inbox.

Even if I find names of people I want to contact on these sinful websites and then I Google them to reach out personally I end up finding nothing but their 17 OTHER listings on competing aggregate apps and/or their linkedin which I have to fucking personally deliver a vial of my DNA to some OTHER data company in order to verify my identity to and I'm just... so over all this.

I used to keep track of all of my log-ins and services I gave my personal data to and I simply cannot anymore. It's a deluge, a blight! I feel so stripped bare of my humanity and anytime I forget where I put my wallet when I'm leaving the house I think about how many hard drives in the world contain the supposedly private information I have so innocently and absentmindedly misplaced.

My body, my mind, and my spirit were not built for this! The days where technology was a tool with which to create for and connect to other humans are slipping away from me! For every phone call that is answered by a machine and every simple tool or device or appliance that I have to "register" to my phone app I lose precious, beautiful seconds of my one and only fleeting life! For every pin number, code, and login I must retain in my mind, a wisp of my soul is displaced to make room!

Humanity is so wonderful, so rich and so pure, it is no wonder that these things which lack it so desperately and aggressively try to steal it!

BREAKING: Attorney General Pam Bondi unveils the "indictments" against Venezuelan President President Nicolás Maduro and they're even more insane than experts predicted.

You really can't make this sh*t up...

"Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, have been indicted in the Southern District of New York. Nicolas Maduro has been charged with Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy, Cocaine Importation Conspiracy, Possession of Machineguns and Destructive Devices, and Conspiracy to Possess Machineguns and Destructive Devices against the United States," Bondi wrote on X.

"They will soon face the full wrath of American justice on American soil in American courts," she continued. "On behalf of the entire U.S. DOJ, I would like to thank President Trump for having the courage to demand accountability on behalf of the American People, and a huge thank you to our brave military who conducted the incredible and highly successful mission to capture these two alleged international narco traffickers."

To point out the incredibly obvious: it's not illegal for Maduro to possess a machine gun. He's the president of a sovereign nation with a standing military. Him having a weapon on Venezuelan territory is not a violation of U.S. nor Venezuelan law.

And of course, the American special forces operators who captured Maduro were carrying machine guns. Apparently, that's totally fine and legal according to the upside down fascist logic of this White House. Laws only apply to political enemies of MAGA, never to enforcers of the regime.

The absurdity of the machine gun charges underlines just what a farce this entire operation is. The allegations that Maduro was running a narco-trafficking empire are equally fabricated. This is is about seizing Venezuela's oil and rare earth minerals.

America, a country awash in guns that can't seem to make it through a week without another mass shooting, just invaded another country, kidnapped their leader, and is now trying to try and imprison him for gun charges. Imagine how knuckle-dragging gullible you'd have to be to buy into any of this.
