CRAZY STAT OF THE DAY: 0.98 - this is the correlation between seed, chem, and fert costs and crop income!

Question: Why do crop input costs rise when crop prices rise, but never fall with crop prices? See 2007-08 & 2011-12 & 2020-21.

One could conclude that these companies are pricing their products based on farmer income.🤯 They take farmer profits during good years, but as you can see they never come down even as crop prices decrease. Input costs only go up ⏫
