@ToddHagopian That weird smell is nothing compared to what's coming in puberty. What has been smelled cannot be unsmelled. I recommend saving coupons for Tide Sport.
@LPUSAWatch That would be false. And after the GOP push to rig House districts, it likely will be no Republicans on my ballot this time, even people I know.
@EricBoehm87@SociallyGreg@washingtonpost Seniors could have voted for solvency. From Lost, Greatest, Silent, Boomer, & X, they did not. This was known since birth rates exploded by '46. These babies would eventually be seniors. Cowardly politicians lied to older voters, who refused to admit the truth.
@EricBoehm87@SociallyGreg@washingtonpost I got my first paycheck from Burger Chef in '80. Dad called it crazy that at 17 I paid into SocialSecurity. The population bubble from 1946 to 1964 that distorted needs for homes, hospitals, schools, etc. would explode SS and pension funds. The fix would have been painless then.
@chromatic_x@ChaseForLiberty Data centers and CAFOs are prone to pollution, which is trespass. Runoff is common, plus data centers have sound & vibration, while CAFOs have pungent odors, especially with hogs. I'm agnostic on both, as long as they get no government money or favors, & contain their pollution.
@JoshEakle I work in an Indiana library, i.e. in the Bible Belt. We never had drag queen storytime. Never seriously considered it. So launching a war to counter that? Way outsized to buying books for the broad swath of interests and viewpoints.๐
@carynannharlos If you can't get on a professional or elected or local board - Main Street, Chamber, NFIB, charities like Cancer Services, a church boards, even the freakin' PTO - you have no business a national political party's board. We should insist upon both LP & non-LP experience.
"Without a vote, without a declaration of war, and without any accountability to the American people, the United States has launched coordinated strikes against Iranian nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan. The President announced it not from the Oval Office, but from his social media account. This is modern American foreign policy: reckless, unlawful, and disturbingly normalized.
Let us be direct: Iranโs regime is authoritarian and violent. But bombing sovereign nations without public consent or congressional approval is not a show of strength.ย It is a betrayal of the American people, who overwhelmingly do not want a new war.
The Libertarian Party demands an immediate halt to this madness. No more illegal wars. No more foreign policy written by lobbyists for Tel Aviv or Lockheed Martin. The American people were not consulted, nor were our representatives, and we refuse to be ruled by those who treat our military like a mercenary force." - LNC Chair @StevenNekhaila
Our former presidential candidate says it well: You control your life, and as long as you are not harming anyone, the government should have no say in how you live that life. Libertarians will continue to work for freedom for all people.
From the beginning, the Libertarian Party has stood for individual rights, bodily autonomy and freedom from state discrimination for all people, including LGBTQ+ Hoosiers. We will continue to do so throughout #PrideMonth and the rest of the year.
@ToddHagopian@MereLiberty Now a librarian: True crime is hot. Are those readers committing more violent crime? No! Like others who love cookbooks, I don't make every recipe. It's food porn, and I love it. Stephen King isn't a criminal. He has an active imagination.
@ToddHagopian@MereLiberty I'm a recovering journalist who writes bad fiction. I met local horror writers. They were weenies when the world's tiniest spider showed up; women's fiction writers gushed about its cuteness. Authors - like actors - don't live like their characters.
