"Some of the same people upset by tents in the neighborhood may be equally alarmed by new homes and new neighbors. But this kind of thinking is one of the reasons for San Francisco’s housing crisis." https://t.co/KYREYwD3WG
Message for all candidates in LA. Don't spend money on polling to find out what the top issues are. I will tell you.

And guess who’s responsible for making that line even possible when former Mayor Villaraigosa was only seeking funding for Subway to the Sea? Guess who created a widespread grassroots movement called #IWillRide that mobilized hundreds to speak at that fateful Metro Board meeting during which the funding was secured to move the shovel ready project forward? Guess who wrote The Journey Continues on behalf of the Director to educate the grasstops? Guess who live Tweeted from Board meetings when Twitter was in its infancy and gad all of LA’s transportation reported following it? None other than yours truly: Consensus Inc. And some of our former staff moved over to the Authority. They adopted the I Will Ride mantra that lives on today. That’s what an excellent strategic communications campaign looks like.
Unrelenting frustrating, especially NoHo-Pasadena BRT, which is 5 years(!) behind. In the meantime, the costs of these projects are skyrocketing.
If this doesn’t improve, it may soon become prohibitively expensive to build any mass transit in L.A.
@metrolosangeles - Do better.
#NewTonight The #Powerball#jackpot is rolling again. With no one hitting all six numbers tonight, we are looking at an estimated $638 million for Monday. Great news for #CaliforniaEducation!
