Stumbled across the spidery, blueish-purple flowerheads of Round-headed Rampion (Phyteuma orbiculare)!! The feeling of discovering a beautiful rare plant quite by accident is one of the best I’ve ever known. It’s everything - just pure, deep, heart-warming JOY 🤌🤩
We might not like the materials but I suspect the motor for lining out (inc the white line) has a much earlier precedent and is retained in humble buildings throughout Scotland.
>50% of Scottish projects (£1.2M of £2M) successful at latest @luhc #CommunityOwnershipFund round had @ArchHFund support to help get to this point.

@nedcroft is too modest! His book is beautiful and I'm sure this #historian 's talk on #StAndrews & #Golf will be informative and entertaining! Details below.
Nervously following in the footsteps of the remarkable Stephen Proctor I’m speaking at the World Golf Museum in St Andrews next Thursday on 6 July. There will be lots of attractive images on display and hopefully a fun Q&A will ensue. #@WorldGolfMuseum

Millions, yes millions of people have walked past this tree in central London without realising it was being strangled to death. I cycled back to get my Stanley knife and released it ....... the chances are it will make a full recovery. Keep your eye out for others needing rescue
