@penspenspens412@Wario64 I've never understood why you would buy annual releases for these kinds of sports games. I just picked up 26' on Switch for $10 used... it will likely be the only football game I ever buy on the platform.
@Yo__Boyfriend_@kvng_chi This hits a bit too close to home. I saved for months to get a GameBoy Pocket… couldn’t even afford a game, had to borrow one from the neighbors. A few weeks later, GBC was in stores and I was so jealous of my friend who got one.
@Werdnah815@Wario64 I am the opposite... I just won't buy until something else that I actually plan to buy is on sale. Most of that time, that means I end up missing various sales and don't place the order.
@Wario64 I wish there was some indication of what the benefits of the Switch 2 version were. I assume resolution, but most of these games would run on a potato and since it's not an "Edition" release I'd actually rather have the Switch 1 version to play on both consoles.
@SwitchUpG I stopped looking at the "For You" tab of Twitter a few months back, and my quality of life instantly improved. I'm sure many of these accounts are real people with real opinions... but as in the olden days, I'm fine with being unaware of the ignorance. Game looks fine...
@Spidercolt@ModernVintageG I use my OLED & 2 almost equally (mostly due to battery life, but partially for the screen too) so interoperability is an important feature for me. For collections of older games like this or the Disney Afternoon Collection, the benefits of native 2 support often aren't huge.
@sophologist Here's the thing though... if you were on the fence then, that was it's relative value to you based on that price. Just because the price has gone up, that doesn't all of the sudden make it more valuable to you. That just means the market thinks it can get that for it...
