Audrey Hepburn was pranked on the set of Roman Holiday (1953) when Gregory Peck pretended that a statue had ripped off his arm.
Knowing the legend said the stone would bite the hand of a liar, he briefly tricked her.
Hepburn’s reaction was kept in the film.
This is transgender actress Candy Darling in the early 1970s. Despite the setbacks, she was determined to be a big star, but lymphoma cut her life short at age 29.
@archaicf0ssil According to an old interview with Farrell, Ira Steven Behr was involved in the decision. He told her that, although he didn't want to do it, it was "best for the show" and "best for the ratings."
@sctnt_yahoo@Ladieswhotrek Also, who are the "ladies" you're referring to? I'm not aware of any complaints about him over his 40-year career. As far as I know, this idea seems to come entirely from Nana accidentally mixing up names in that documentary, which is not enough to support that idea.
@sctnt_yahoo@Ladieswhotrek Not true at all. The documentary was misleading: it kept a slip-up from Nana saying 'Marc' instead of 'Dukat' that made it seem like she disliked him IRL. She used to meet him off set, she found him sweet and lovely: https://t.co/Ncyqt7Of6p

44 years ago today, the made-for-TV movie THE ARCHER aired, written & directed by Nick Corea. Corea also wrote the amazing episode of "The Incredible Hulk" called "Nine Hours" that should have won Marc Alaimo an Emmy & the DS9 ep "Indiscretion". The men were lifetime friends.
