Said cyclist ‘filters’ through the traffic on the incorrect side of a solid white line, snarls me, jumps on to the pavement and continues peddling, gets to a cross roads with temporary traffic lights and then goes through a red. 🤷‍♂️

Cyclists are a different breed. So I’m driving down a tight country lane (50mph limit) I see this cyclist and he’s going around 30mph.

I notice he’s wearing headphones and I’m thinking of the overtake. The road opens up, I put my indicator on and give him a polite beep

to let him know I’m coming through.

He looks over his shoulder so I now know he’s aware of me. I gave him plenty of room and complete the overtake. A few miles further up the road it’s standstill traffic.

The driver of the Land Rover was completely oblivious that a marked police car was behind him. Probably had something to do with him using his phone to text. Driver reported.
