@Clogish@justinspratt Amsterdam held its ground while many new ecosystems were added to the list. That in itself is quite an achievement for a small city like Amsterdam. But indeed, it isnโt about competition. It just shows the trends and where most startup and VC activity is happening.
@justinspratt@Clogish@tech_eu@Techleapnl Hi, thatbis an easy prediction as Ams was already 3yrs above Berlin and 2 above Paris. Interesting to see Berlin coming back up. Overall that is good news for Europe. I donโt understand why Stockholm gets such a low rating. Itโs an amazingly vibrant ecosystem.
@jchatterleyCNN @Techleapnl Thx Julia for having me on the show. At a pivotal moment in tech. Many ventures were overvalued finding it hard to get funded, fail or exit. At the same time there is an AI investment frenzy and a strong focus on ventures making an impact in food, climate, energy. Silver linings?
@WorkMJ UK founders&investors, government&regulators pulled together in record time to mitigate the unfolding crisis. That wouldnโt have happened in many other places. As such a founder should be pretty happy to be part of the UK โecosystemโ.
@ubaada And there are probably many bright Europeans working on research in Stanford, Berkeley, Google, MIT etc, but the point is that the scientific output from European based AI science is not competitive.
