The phrase prostituted women was taken from the French "prostitutée" and the thing is, the idea behind it is not that every woman is trafficked (assuming that's what you mean) or has been, simply that if women were treated as equals, it wouldn't exist

My problem is I don't like the way radfem framing forces us to pretend every woman who gets into danger because of prostitution was forced into sex work. I detest the phrase prostituted women. If it's inherently dangerous than women who chose it are going to be in danger as well.
