Making Sincitium
Issue 1: Art direction

Sincitium has sparked a lot of curiosity, so we've decided to share some fun facts and a bit of the process that made it possible.

Our projects are experiments, which is why there are certain creative liberties we don't mind taking—like inconsistencies in style or animation.

We tried to maintain a clear visual language, even if it wasn't perfect.

The goal was to keep the main characters as consistent as possible, while giving ourselves a bit of leeway on one-off shots where the narrative and visual impact mattered more to us than strict consistency.

Sincitium is finally here.

We are pleased to present our latest piece: a concept trailer created specifically for the @runwayml Big Pitch Contest. For this project, we wanted to explore a completely different aesthetic from our usual studio style, and this film is the result of that experimentation.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed the creative process.
