Art is always about bright & sparkling colours, the pigments have to shout that they are there. Colour is life & my art is about happiness. My subconscious is a technicolour landscape. Here’s a bunch of my original ink on paper drawings in a thread!

I really love barn owls & this one is from my sister’s farm in Carlow. There’s something otherworldly about these birds & how humans tend not to annoy them!

This is one of the most endangered native orchids in these islands. Its few remaining plants have to be watched against theft all the time. It’s one of my favorite flowers

I wandered into Ranelagh Village, near where I live, & was impressed to see some penguins & a polar bear! I love that someone has gone to this trouble to enthuse kids. That sort of excitement is an inspiration for my drawings as you can see in this thread!
