I really love barn owls & this one is from my sister’s farm in Carlow. There’s something otherworldly about these birds & how humans tend not to annoy them!

This is one of the most endangered native orchids in these islands. Its few remaining plants have to be watched against theft all the time. It’s one of my favorite flowers
