@SeekingAlpha Nike also sponsored one less team in the World Cup this year (12 teams) despite the expansion from 32 to 48. I'd be worried as a Nike shareholder.
Bitcoin went down because:
- AI gave better returns so gamblers switched
- Whales had enough liquidity to exit (IPO style moment)
- Miners switched to AI and dumped Bitcoin or didn't absorb it
- Smaller treasury companies stopped buying
- People think Strategy will capitulate and sell Bitcoin
- The debasement trade became unfashionable
Strategy went down because:
- Bitcoin went down
- Debt levels increased and interest rates increased
- They sold a tiny bit of Bitcoin so the market misinterpreted this as weakness
- STRC leverage got flushed out, which made people think Strategy's credit worthiness was in question
A lot of the sell side pressure should now be easing, with the only thing driving us down now being capitulation.
Trump disclosing $50M in Bitcoin could be the catalyst to bounce us back up.
I am not insinuating anything - you cannot be French and Black. If I have a Chinese passport you would not call me Chinese, - so why would you degrade the meaning of French but not the meaning of Chinese?
You can have the debate about whether non-French should live in France if you want, but by calling them French you are already declaring the pro immigration side the winners.
@MindUnfolding@JOBhakdi I think empathy is too kind -it suggests they have good intention.
This kind of virtue signalling is cowardly at best and deeply selfish at worst, as they are trying to gain favour for themselves.
@abosalaharena It's unfair on second and third place qualifiers who had a hard group, as they will have played more games and picked up more fatigue and injury.
Why not just have 16 groups and the top two only qualify?
@UtdMaI It devalues the group because you just have to not be last to get a knockout game.
It also means second/third place teams play more matches, which means it is not a fair contest when they meet the well rested first place team.
@archer_rs I am still waiting for Brexit to be delivered. We wanted less regulation and less immigration.
All we got was brower, stupider, stabbier immigrants.
@JohnWight1 Lucky you. My Aunt 72 YO waited 8 hours in A&E with a spinal fracture, only to be told to come back the next day.
And the NHS does cost ยฃ6K a year per person, so don't be too astounded.
I've seen the film and you've expressed quite a few things I thought but couldn't put into words, particularly about it being a cudgel and how he's there to express what people are holding inside.
I think the portrayal is quite accurate as to what you would expect from someone who was willing to go to those lengths.
He has an entitled, angry, sociopathic personality with a high need for order.
You don't get a sense of empathy from him for the victims, but more a disgust to the perpetrators and a need for the system to work correctly.
You can see this mirrored in his work as a landlord and also with the scene with the prostitute, where he stops to complain about the mold and also pays her exactly what she is owed even when he didn't have to.
@mattletiss7 32 was much better.
The quality of some teams are so poor and I'm fed up of the commentators telling me how incredible it is that rubbish team no. 5 made it to the World Cup.
