Rev heads and lovers of Aussie legends, just take a minute and a half to remember how bloody awesome Peter Brock was. A little something from my VHS archive - 1991 Shell Australian Touring Car Championship RaceCam live chat during the race ๐๐๐ผ๐ฏ๐
A rare Holden Commodore, found hidden in a shed in country Victoria, has just sold at auction for $108,000. The relic is the only of its kind remaining in the world. https://t.co/5zYfOfGqUb #7NEWS
Now I know we are supposed to be going electric to save the planet ๐ฑbut tell me this doesnโt give you a stirring in your groin ??!! Turn up the volume ๐๐
@mickysacs11 Spot on mate. I can vouch on the stress and pressure applied to the few permanent carers and families left to cover the gaps for loved ones for appropriate care needs and sufficient rostering/ training of a industry reliant too heavy on casualisation. Still hurts.
@robshehadie@robshehadie - ciao mate surprising fact the only bar soap plant left in Australia making Aussie made soap is in Shepparton Vic. Proudly making our old school Velvet and Sunlight soap!! Support Aussie made folks.
@DHughesy@DHughesy -mate and we have a local Aussie soap business - Pental , in Shepparton that proudly employs 120 locals that manufacture Sunlight/ Velvet soap thatโs better than imported Sanitizer. Get behind an Aussie manufacturer folks and bring back bar soap!
@holden_aus Ceasing local manufacture is one thing, however iconic brand deletion synomous with a countries aspirations for generations is something else. This is the harsh reality of a global industry.
We can be proud of a great heritage in Holden.
