1st trip to London for a long time. Notes...
1. Catching an early train is much more difficult with a toddler to sort out.
2. I will forget my lunch and snacks
3. The time on the train is an absolute dream for writing notes
4. I wish the Elizabeth line existed 10 years ago
@sargent65@Unicorn_Theatre Ah wonderful!
There are a few lovely shows for babies popping up at the moment but none nearby and all finish before Christmas βΉ
I can't believe I haven't been able to take her to see anything yet due to working. The window of magical baby theatre is closing!!
@amyrosedraper Stayed and trying to make it work. Still only 6 months in, already doesn't feel conducive to getting anything right and have had to shift to more producing over touring.
Huge thanks to Joe Wicks for letting us use @thebodycoach workout in Margot's Magical Winter Wonder Party (for when the puppet does her crunches in isolation!)
Inspired by 2020, our digital show @Pegatweet puts the year's missed events into one mega party! https://t.co/3c9CdxYxON
Can't lie, this hit me hard yesterday!
I think it was that we were tantalisingly close. A massive thank you to @artsdepot for keeping the faith & helping us still pay our freelance team despite the cancellation.
Also shout to the team and the glorious 3 days we had together x
We are absolutely heartbroken about the news after @artsdepot worked so hard to make the show happen. A very sad team here tonight. Thoughts and hugs of solidarity for the many, many others who have been affected by the Tier 3 news tonight x
Just what I needed to hear today. I know we are all having to deal with the disappointment of introducing projects again. But here is why it is important and that we don't always need theatres to be open to make a difference
Dadβs ability to improvise and compose beautiful melodies on the fly has always amazed me.
Tonight, I gave him four random notes as a starting point.
Although his dementia is getting worse, moments like this bring him back to me.
