Thanks, @DanProft for having me on your show today to talk about why the Republicans need to work harder to get our message out in Illinois.
As Dan knows, elections are not like golf, where you need higher quality and lower quantity shots. I usually wind up with higher quantity, lower quality shots, which is the objective in winning elections. We want the high quality voter, of course. But most of all, we need a high quantity of voters.

Hey Folks, when I said Tip of the iceberg on several other previous Illinois indictments …. Well here is another…. STILL only tip of the iceberg❗️ ✅👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
RE: A PERSONAL UPDATE
Good afternoon, everyone,
I wanted to take a moment to share a personal update with the many friends, colleagues, and associates I've had the pleasure of knowing and working alongside over the years.
A couple of months ago, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Since then, I've undergone extensive testing, examinations, and consultations with my medical team. The good news is that my doctors now have a very clear understanding of my condition, and their outlook is extremely positive. They believe my cancer is highly treatable, with an excellent likelihood of a successful treatment and cure.
I consider myself very fortunate that we've identified the situation, have a clear treatment plan, and have every reason to be optimistic about the outcome.
I've already been taking medication for approximately a month and will begin the next phase of treatment in the coming weeks. That process is expected to continue over the next few months, and I'm looking forward to putting this chapter behind me.
I deliberately waited to share this news more broadly until my doctors had completed their evaluations and we had a clear understanding of the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment plan. My family and those closest to me have been aware, but I felt it was important to have the full picture before sharing this with the many friends and colleagues I've come to know over the years.
I share this news not to cause concern or invite sympathy, but simply because I've always believed in being open and straightforward with the people in my life.
Those who know me know that I've always approached life's challenges with determination, a positive attitude, and a strong faith in God. This situation is no different. As a lifelong Catholic, my faith has always been a central part of my life, and it continues to provide me with tremendous strength, comfort, and perspective.
As for my day-to-day activities, I fully intend to remain engaged in my business, professional responsibilities, and the many things I enjoy doing. There may be an occasional adjustment to my schedule as treatments progress, but otherwise, it's business as usual.
And please, there's certainly no need to worry about me or treat me any differently. I have an excellent medical team, a wonderful family, tremendous support, and a very positive outlook.
Quite frankly, I look at this as simply another one of life's challenges that needs to be addressed. We have a plan, we're executing that plan, and I fully expect to come through this stronger and healthier than ever.
I certainly appreciate everyone's friendship and support, and for those inclined to do so, I would always welcome a prayer or two. You can never have too many of those!
Please don't feel obligated to call, write, or respond. I simply wanted to share this update personally, reassure everyone that I'm doing well, and then get back to the business of living life!
In closing, I have a lot of living, working, laughing, and enjoying life still ahead of me, and I have absolutely no intention of slowing down any more than necessary!
Thank you all, and God bless.
Sean Morrison
One of the most biggest gatherings of Republicans in Illinois is the Northwest Suburban Lincoln Day Dinner at the Cotillion in Palatine Oct. 28 and it benefits nine participating township GOP organizations. Ticket sales close this week, so don't miss your chance to hear from Sen. Roger Wicker (MS) and Dan Proft.

We do not believe this is exactly as she described. First, there are no Republicans running for judge in Hanover Township. There are three Republicans (excellent ones, by the way, in Michelle Pennington, Timothy Rueckert and Jill Shestokas) running for MWRD Commissioner, though.
The touch screen machines will alert you if you undervote any race (an unopposed race, or if you only voted for 2 candidates for MWRD when you can vote for a maximum of three, for example) to confirm that is what you really want to do.
We've had people look into it and do not see evidence of wrongdoing. We believe she is being vigilant which is great, but probably panicked at seeing that alert and misread what it said. She is welcome to reach out to us and give us more information, though.
Hey Cook County.
Not one GOP leader or Republican candidate in Cook County was told the date that these extra high school early voting locations would be open.
No notice given. And no response from the county clerk when people called to ask. It was by luck that one election judge found out by speaking to another election judge YESTERDAY and it was discovered these extra early voting locations are open TOMORROW, Thursday Oct 15. Why these schools? Why only these congressional districts? Why so secretive? A secret voting spot just for schools where no poll watchers know to show up…

32 House Democrats. One voting bloc.
Justin Cochran didn’t cast a single Yea or Nay against Chris Welch since being appointed by party bosses to replace Marty Moylan.
The 55th District deserves better. Vote Joseph Johnson for Illinois House. #ILHouse
Nearly 1,500 House roll calls this General Assembly.
Not one Yea or Nay from Tracy Katz Muhl against Speaker Chris Welch.
She’s one of the Welch 32. The North Shore deserves an independent voice.
Elect @DanBehrIL . #57thDistrict#ILHouse
Want to help us drive turnout here in Northfield Twp AND across the Cheddar Curtain? Join us Oct 13 and Oct 14 as we'll write postcards to Republicans who seldom vote in midterms to give them a nudge to vote this time. Pizza and soft drinks will be served. https://t.co/vZK5Bx0oUY
A former House Minority Leader failed to unite his caucus, lost a bunch of seats in the House, quit his post and then quit on his District before fading into the woodwork, doing no work to cure the party of whatever "ills" he thinks exist.
His thoughts on the Governor's race are about as relevant as whatever rooting preference Pedro Grifol has in tomorrow's White Sox game.
@Dysgruntledd@BoldGold94@LPIllinois@cookcodems We ran countywide candidates in 2024, 2022, 2020, 2018, 2016, 2014, 2012, 2010, 2008, and 2006. This year, we've put our resources into a strong slate of qualified MWRD candidates as resources are tight.
Jim Durkin helped Democrats get a supermajority. He’s been their gift that keeps on giving for years.
I don’t want his endorsement.
I’d just like to know what Pritzker promised him in return.
The NW Suburban Lincoln Day Dinner is set for Oct. 28 at the Cotillion in Palatine, and will feature Mississippi Senator Roger Wicker. This is one of the most anticipated Republican events of the year, and it raises money to support ten township GOP organizations. Click on the link to reserve your spot:
