🇦🇪 UAE Denies Reuters Report

The United Arab Emirates on Friday “categorically” denied media reports that it had transferred funds to Iran, rejecting a Reuters report that Abu Dhabi had agreed to release up to $20 billion to Tehran in exchange for a halt to Iranian attacks.

In a statement, the UAE Foreign Ministry said the claims, including those involving a $3 billion sum already transferred, were “untrue and not based on any facts or reliable information.”

It said that “no frozen Iranian funds have been released or transferred” through the UAE.
