What people misunderstand about Elizabeth Holmes is— an effective manipulator does genuinely believe what they’re saying, and does genuinely believe they’re doing nothing wrong.
And a REALLY effective manipulator is kind of right.
i do not want to spoil anything but somebody says something in You Can See Everything that is so unfathomably evil that i genuinely forgot i was watching a documentary because no way is a real person like that
Elizabeth Holmes' partner Billy Evans admits "she looks insane" in the "You Can See Everything" trailer and says "I might think this is the dumbest thing I have ever done" when he finally sees the movie.
"There's been a lot of media produced on her. There's been a lot of people who have told her story. That narrative is pretty ossified. The whole idea was here she is, see her and make up your own mind. It's not to re-litigate the case. It was to have people see who she is. I have gone through this consistent experience with the people who love me most, from my grandmother to my best friends. They'd hear I knew [Elizabeth Holmes] or I was falling for this person and now we're going to have a kid... in the beginning, every single one of these people thought I was crazy. 'Do you know who she is?' I would tell them, 'I understand why you feel that way but just meet her.' And they would meet her and spend time with her and see her in a totally natural environment, like going on a hike or helping a friend. Every opinion of her would radically shift. That was the intention of the film. To help scale that up and allow other people to sit with her and make up their own minds."
"Am I nervous [for the movie to be seen]? I have been through so many intense, surreal experiences that it takes a bit to raise my blood pressure. With this there's certainly concern but it's ultimately our decision." (via All-In Podcast)

Director Steven Soderbergh approached Matt Reeves with the offer of directing the remainder of ‘THE BATMAN: PART 2’ in this statement:
“I thought Matt Reeves’ work on The Batman was stunning; it was intentional, specific, and rigorously coherent. The goal here is to work with Matt and his team to generate footage that will integrate seamlessly with what’s already been shot so Matt can properly finish his film.”

Things that Metal Gear Solid 2 and Death Stranding have in common with the new controversial movie "DIGGER"
A conversation between director Alejandro G. Iñárritu and the legendary Hideo Kojima.
I had been holding off on posting my thoughts until the interview was released. Director Iñárritu’s “DIGGER” is a film that all of us living in today’s world should see. It is a work that remains with the audience, provoking reflection and sounding alarms. As you absorb this film and carry it with you, a “tool (a digger)” for delving deeper into the future will surely begin to take shape within you. This is a film that will stay by your side for years to come.
Since 2024, Jake Ferguson is tied for the 3rd-most fumbles (8) among all RBs, WRs and TEs.
He's the ONLY player in the top 11 with fewer than 400 touches.
He has just 151.
He's fumbling ONCE on every 18.9 touches. Absolutely ridiculous. You can't play him.
