@daxtens @ajdlinux @Jordan_BT07 @tsujamin In a worker co-op, the share price is fixed and not tied to the market value of the company, so if you paid $5k to join, the company would (cash-availability allowing) pay you $5k when you depart + any profit that was allocated to you but retained as working capital.

@Jordan_BT07 The difference between a partnership and worker co-op is that profit in a worker co-op is distributed on the basis of labor contribution (usually hours worked) rather than % ownership, additional employees have a path to becoming co-owners, and governance is 1 member 1 vote.
