@moretransitso@wanderer1893 For Liberty Village? I mean Exhibition GO and Ontario Line station are a 10 min walk south. The area has decent transit options even without this station.
@TTChelps explain the logic behind having the bus horn blare when a driver doesn’t get to the bus when it’s scheduled to leave? Like disturb everyone to get the drivers attention?
@Tablesalt13 The replies to this lol - only one company to blame, the snow removal company that piled all the snow into a 10 foot mound over one section of the precast deck. Overloaded the structure and this is what you get. Miracle no one was killed.
@GhostOfGrabo@RM_Transit This project isn’t resurfacing - they are physically removing and rebuilding the elevated structure. Not saying there isn’t ways to speed this up - but this mini bridge thing floating around is a (comical) solution not for this problem
@augustAP12 In a way - our service is significantly better than a lot of places but I was just suggesting that Sheppard has some special circumstances that make it a lot easier to run such level of service. Until recently - anything over 5 mins at anytime would have been a shock.
@james56198696 I see no reason why they can’t blend service with a branch that turns back at Don Mills and the rest of the service to Kennedy. We do this already with many routes and a portion of Line 1 (in the am peak)
@RM_Transit You are totally right, but my point wasn’t that Liberty Village shouldn’t be served, but that swinging the line down and terminating at the GO station isn’t the best use, when an extension further west would serve other neighbourhoods and still serve liberty village
