Today, Chief @TPSMyronDemkiw announced the arrest of a 30-year-old man after shots were fired at a restaurant in the Avenue Rd & Brooke Ave area on April 3. Four firearms charges have been laid. This continues to be an active criminal investigation.

Yesterday, there was a group of protesters that entered a private event without permission. Five people have been arrested. This investigation is ongoing, and additional charges could potentially be laid.
Whether it’s this incident or during any other protest, I want to make something very clear: when people break the law, and when people interfere with or assault our officers, every step necessary will be taken in an effort to arrest and charge those responsible.
