Jamaican born Sislin Fay Allen was the first black woman to become a UK police constable when she joined the Met in 1968.
She's been called a pioneer and civil rights icon but preferred to describe herself as an ordinary mother and an optimist.
Fay passed away in July aged 83🕯️
