In today's society the Transatlantic Slave Trade is still represented in many forms. One of the most powerful forms of art is a sculpture created by artist Stephen Hayes- titled "Cash Crop". It is on display at The African American Museum in Philadelphia. #TASTP

Art can show many different things to many different people. The artist himself says that the way the slaves were transported here remind him of sweatshops in third world countries when he looks at diagrams of the ship he used to create this. #TASTP
