The Walton-Penner ownership group is privately funding the Broncos entire new stadium project. The last nine stadiums to be built or that are in advanced stages of construction have utilized $6.5 billion in public funding - an average of $726M per city.
Who else is excited that the Denver Broncos are planning to build their new stadium at Burnham Yards? Will Burnham Yards be the home of the @Broncos where the Rio Grande built her powerful iron horses? Time will tell.

* as it says in the article, truckers can't go more than 12 hours without a mandatory rest period. They can feel pressure to cover as much ground per day as possible to keep their employers' bean counters happy, especially if they've been delayed by weather.
This new proposed Colorado State law is a good idea! It would protect cars on I-70 from being run over by a commercial truck driver trying to keep their hours requirement* by passing and speeding down I-70.
