A5 Creating digital formats To opt on paper & choose digital Example: Petco asks shoppers the preference for their receipt electronic or paper. If companies & individuals choose to do the same we can create an impact Lets use our technology to improve our environment. #Digitizeme
@Zyass1 Yes, that is a great way. Just how DeVry University provides the first option as an online format instead of hard copies, and if an individuals wishes a hard copy additional costs are required. Which deters students from buying the hard copy. #Digitizeme
@NatzSteven This is the reason for #Digitizeme To create awareness of how to utilize our modern tools to prevent the overuse of paper. Just as individuals adapt to new technology. We should adapt on how documents are viewed professional or not. We could consider a tablet to be concrete.
@Zyass1 In my opinion a nowadays all documents are created electronic to then be printed and called Legal copy. Why not just create and store it as legal copy? But, yes that might be a factor on why companies choose to use paper often. #Digitizeme
@NatzSteven Less secure is definitely a costly $ con. Companies and individuals are more vulnerable to loose documents due to hacks, therefore to ensure safety costly measurements need to be enforced like buying security and antivirus systems. #Digitizeme
@NatzSteven Yes, scanners are great for converting paper format into digital format. Did you know Iphone has the capability to scan and create as a digital pdf? #Digitizeme
A1: There are many pros of going paperless which preventing deforestation, cleaner air, and help animals to survive longer, as there homes would not be destroyed by cutting down trees. #Digitizeme
@Zyass1@Zyass1
Yes, 1 of the many pros is to help save the environment by preventing the destruction of our forests . Forests' are the homes of many animals which are also affected by deforestation and can eventually become extinct. #Digitizeme
@PriyankaPThakk1 Yes, about 40% of cut timber is used for the production of paper. Which could lead deforestation. As seen in this picture that WWF (World Wildlife Fund) posted once. #Digitizeme
A1: Technology has become much advance. We can communicate from all over the world with our smart devices (pc,cellphones,other). New devices are created to improve our daily life. We now need to use these tools to create an environmental impact such as going paperless #digitizeme
