@endthedivide19 I do have friends from other backgrounds and cultures and they are no different than me in terms of being human. The only differences are opinions because we all bleed red and all share so much in common. #endthedivide
@endthedivide19 A1: Yes being classified as one thing just because of the way you look or the race you were born can definitely be a bad feeling. People need to be more accepting of everyone and ignore stereo typing. #endthedivide
@CoraimaG2 We continue to overuse paper because our society is still so used to using it. Paper is seen by many as a concrete document or even a more professional way of expressing something at times. #Digitizeme
@CoraimaG2 Going digital is such a better way nowadays as it saves so much paper and makes things much easier to access or use from anywhere. Like you said paper is useful but also so wasteful.#Digitizeme
@CoraimaG2 A1: I’ve benefited from the digital age greatly over the years because it just allows an unparalleled ease of access to other people in order to find jobs, go to school, shop, and so many other things.#Digitizeme
@CoraimaG2 Scanners are great for converting our papers into digital formats. Technology allows us to do just about anything on our phones and laptops as well to help stay paperless. #Digitizeme
This will now conclude my live chat for #NoPlasticNoProblem.
Thank you to everybody who participated!
Have a great night and hopefully we can make a difference one person at a time!
Just for a quick reference I wanted to add a couple links for additional information on the subject of plastic pollution:

Question 5: Why do you think some states don’t encourage recycling as much as others? Do you think recycling is something that every state should clarify and encourage to its inhabitants due to the growing global plastic pollution? #NoPlasticNoProblem
@jones_carrie13 I completely agree. However if we focus our efforts close to home first, I think a huge difference could be made from our results even on the global scale. #NoPlasticNoProblem
@endthedivide19 I wonder this as well. I am from California, so it has always been ingrained in me to recycle. I don't think this is something that only some states should participate in, every state should provide recycling bins to its people to jump start a change. #NoPlasticNoProblem
@endthedivide19 Yes this is great, it's the same thing that I do as well. I will usually keep large plastic or cardboard food boxes for storage at home. #NoPlasticNoProblem
What are some ways or examples that you personally take action to be environmentally friendly as a consumer? Do you have any consumer habits?
#NoPlasticNoProblem
@YogiDollface Hi Lisa, I also try to use reusable bags while grocery shopping and reusable bottles. Single use plastics can really start to add up over time for even just one person.
#NoPlasticNoProblem
Hello everybody! Thanks for your input for the first question. My next question is a little more specific.
Do you buy single-use plastic consumables on a regular basis, or do you avoid them? Why?#NoPlasticNoProblem
