T.rex is NOT the name of the famous giant dinosaur. It’s simply an abbreviation of its binomial name Tyrannosaurus rex that became popular. Tylosaurus rex can also be shortened that way if desired. In fact there’s several species that could be. Trying to say you can’t do that-
