Onto Ep3, Primeval’s first marine animal, the Mosasaur, Terror of the Thames. @MrFragilis had fun with this one, keeping some of its distinctive features on a more accurate base.
(Anatomy based on Mosasaurus hoffmannii, was tempted to do Tylo-Rex but AFAIK hoffmannii is bigger)
Since Allosaurus has been getting alot of attention lately here's all the artwork I've Commissioned over the past 5 years. Art done by @ddinodan and @MrFragilis
Primeval Ep2 finished with everyone’s favourite giant Millipede Arthropleura (A. armata by @MrFragilis) the kind of bug that would stick to the kitchen at parties.
(Not much to keep from the base design cause it’s a Kaiju Scolopendra, very much Arthropleura in name only)
Wildlife of Skull Island - Skull Island Titanovenator, the largest Abelisaurid on the Island reaching almost the same size as the Tyrannosaurus. Often found hunting around the mountains of the Island. Legend of Kong; King of Skull Island Concept artwork done by @MrFragilis
So far there could be a possibility that the movie takes place in the Morrison Formation, a movie with varied dinosaurs is always fun, although I feel that this movie spared no expense, if you know what I mean.
As one of the seemingly few fans of 65, I gotta say that I don't think The End of Oak Street designs are very reminiscent of it at all. However, I really would've loved 65 if it had more cast to be eaten by those ugly 'dinosaurs.'
Wildlife of Skull Island - thalassoscorpio balaenoidiformes, the largest arthropod of Skull Island these filter feeders are only active at night, their Bioluminescent carapace catching the eye of prey and sailors alike. Legend of Kong; King of Skull Island art done by @MrFragilis
