@kosemani1@dillon_mulroy The delete is the secret sauce of this implantation every access through get or set the item is deleted and readded to the Map so that it is on the top of the stack. The oldest item will always be on the bottom.
@FitFounder Simple human trash can with the bag refills that store on the back of the can. Strange that this is my number one household gadget but it’s made emptying and resetting a new bag so much easier that it feels like a life hack whenever I use it.
@rob_siglio We were close to purchasing our first home in the fall but as listings dried up heading into Christmas season we decided to pause and wait for the 2025 market to heat back up again. The plan was to buy in the next few months but looming political uncertainty caused us to rethink
@JonFlynnREstats@MatBabiak TA is largely a self fullfilling prophecy and only works if other traders (in this case home buyers) are also using TA signals to decide when to buy or sell houses. But I would say homes are traded more on fundamentals like interest rates, rental prices, or external factors
@ronmortgageguy So what does this mean for the cohort of precon buyers who purchased over the last four years, many paying between $1300-1600/sqft for shoeboxes. Each unit is underwater $100-200k, that’s a lot of capital up in smoke and a lot of investors that wont be reinvesting in new units.
@JustinTrudeau Say you wanted to enter the market and purchase a modest 1 bedroom condo in Toronto for $600k. You put 120k down payment (20%) with a mortgage rate of 5%. At 25 vs 30 year amortization you would pay $2800 vs $2570 saving $230/mo but pay an extra $85k interest
Great thread on the enshittification of Amazon . Either through over automation or willful blindness they allow counterfeit and knock off products to occupy the same space and compete with legitimate products with no recourse. Ridge Wallet
Amazon is a broken mess.
I have done over $50,000,000 on amazon.
They dont care about me as a seller, partner, or person.
I uploaded this design patent
Was told “stop contacting me”
What went wrong inside amazon?
why do they hate small businesses and the law?
A thread:
@danielfoch@Urbanation@cibc Im surprised this isn't at 100%. Show me the math of how any newly completed condo can cash flow. Is the answer put down a 50%+ downpayment?
It has been a while since I’ve had a car but during a recent trip in Ireland I rented a Renault Austral Hybrid. Filled the 50 litre tank for €88 ($130 CAD) then drove 1000km all over the island with about 100km left in the tank when I returned it. Not bad.
We are publishing our work on generalized calldata compression for Ethereum L2s, alongside an open source library (https://t.co/TzdWJEU3cX) for anyone to compress data, thanks to it we can reduce our L2 fees by ~50%

@vaibhavchellani Keep busy. Distract yourself with work. Chug a pint of water. If really bad take a lie down until it passes. Ghrelin (hunger hormone) will spike during your normal eating times then subside about an hour after.
@friendtech Feature request: On the Home (Transaction History) screen I would love to have a additional tab for my history — i.e. Just the keys I bought/sold.
@pdr420 I had that same thought, sure they are taking some chances to create a new dish but they would have used their experience to know they need to have the right balance of acidity and fats and sugar, and what types of flavors go well together. Surely the dishes were edible.
@Agusx1211 But merging also incurs costs which can outlive the development of the branch. I don’t think we should dismiss the benefit of a clean linear history/the problems rebasing avoids.
@Agusx1211 Where this becomes more of a debate is how to handle long-lived feature branches especially with multiple team team members. DX of rebase is a cost you pay continuously during development.
@Agusx1211 Generally I would say it’s just good housekeeping to rebase your features, squash or interactively reduce commits to a set of distinct features before including. Majority of time work branches are short lived and dx isn’t impacted by having to keep up to date.
