🌱 Through 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽’𝘀 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 (𝗦𝗚𝗦𝗜) program, with funding from 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗔. 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗲𝘀 (𝗠𝗔𝗖𝗣), we are supporting local organizations to strengthen their capacity and advance community-led solutions for women, children, and adolescents.

We are proud to see this partnership in action with @BettyAderaFDN, one of our SGSI partners in #Kenya. Through the 𝗘𝗻𝗸𝗶𝘀𝗵𝘂 𝗡𝗮𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗿 (“𝗚𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀’ 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲”) 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 in #NarokSouth, the organization is working to reduce early marriage and adolescent pregnancy while strengthening the health and well-being of adolescent girls.

As @BettyAderaFDN recently shared, the partnership has gone beyond grant funding. Through organizational capacity assessments, technical assistance, and continued support, the organization has strengthened areas including monitoring and evaluation, financial management, safeguarding, governance, and resource mobilization.

The workshop will explore continuity of care amid mobility and displacement, misinformation and trust, and the role of digital tools and AI in supporting community health workers.

@AfricaCDC and the @WHO have welcomed the end of the Ebola outbreak caused by the #Bundibugyovirus in #Uganda, following 42 consecutive days without a new confirmed case.

This milestone reflects the importance of strong surveillance, rapid response, coordinated health systems, and continued collaboration to detect and contain outbreaks and protect communities.

🌟 Member Monday Spotlight: @projecthopeorg

This #MemberMonday, we’re highlighting @projecthopeorg and its work to strengthen maternal, newborn, and child health services in #Ghana through the  𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 (𝗜𝗛𝗣).

Through ongoing clinical mentorship and supportive supervision, IHP is helping frontline health workers move beyond training to put evidence-based practices into action at the point of care.

Early results are encouraging. Recent mentorship and quality improvement activities have contributed to:

• 121 health workers supported through on-site mentorship
• 83% of mentored health workers meeting competency standards
• Newborn resuscitation performance reaching 91%
• Kangaroo Mother Care coverage increasing from 73% to 85%

👏 By combining hands-on mentorship, practical implementation tools, and data-driven monitoring, @projecthopeorg is helping build a culture of continuous learning and stronger quality of care for women, newborns, and children.

The @WHO is inviting organizations to submit proposals to host side events at the #COP31 Health Pavilion, taking place during COP31 from 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟵–𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 in 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗮, 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗸𝗶𝘆𝗲.

@Gavi, has welcomed the 𝗨.𝗦. 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁’s commitment to release 𝗨𝗦$𝟲𝟬𝟬 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 in funding for fiscal years 2025 and 2026.

🌍 This #MemberMonday, we are highlighting how innovative approaches can make health services more accessible and responsive to young people.

In Zambia, @JohnsHopkinsCCP and partners, including the 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗭𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗮 and @Ipas, worked with the @mohzambia to implement Adolescent Wellness Days, dedicated days designed to create a more welcoming and confidential environment for young people seeking health services.

Over six months, 146 Wellness Days across 75 health facilities reached more than 16,500 adolescents, demonstrating how rethinking service delivery can help break down barriers to care.
