The floor is lava! ๐ I used to love playing this game with my friends when I was young but this takes it to another level! I also love the teamwork and problem solving this activity encourages! @cathalogos#physed#pegeeks
This lesson incorporated so many key elements of effective learning. Teamwork. Problem solving. Engagement. Physical challenge. Leadership. Imagination. Competition. I love using technology to support learning and engagement in PE. We canโt wait for our next adventure. #physed
@cathalogos this looks so cool! What a fun and creative way to get students active and practicing a variety of different motor skills! Reminds me of field day in Elementary School but all the activities are within the same race! #physed#pegeeks
Love this activity! Great incorporation of the affective domain into a lesson! Students may realize their peers are feeling unsure about getting back to the classroom too and we can identify and help those students grow confident!

Thank you for sharing!
During my time in HS, Dodgeball was a very controversial activity for PE class and I remember having a teacher who even rebranded it as "spherical avoidance". What do you think? Is dodgeball still an appropriate activity for PE classes? #dodgeball#poll#pegeeks#physed
Quick shoutout to the two amazing women who inspired me to pursue becoming a PE teacher! My older sister Kelsey and my friend Steph. You #ironwoman are everything I strive to be when I join the profession. I can't wait to follow in your footsteps โค๏ธ #pegeeks
Here's your daily reminder to take a deep breath, remember something you're grateful for and sit with that thing for a few moments. Life can get stressful, but remember all the good things we still have. #namaste#mindfulness#pegeeks
@felicellope I try and get my 10,000 in a day right now while doing grad school and working. I'm sure it'll be more once I'm a PE teacher on my feet all day! Can't wait! #10000stepsormore
Best wishes to all the students and PE teachers headed back into schools this past week! Stay safe and enjoy having in person classes again! #BacktoSchool2021
