So incredible to see @aimeeallison in conversation with Ali Mata at @stmarysca yesterday. Brilliant. Inspiring. @_shethepeople is what democracy looks like. Thank you, Aimee.
So let me get this straight: Republicans in Congress wanted to impeach Obama for passing the Affordable Care Act, but they don't want to impeach Trump for inciting an insurrection?
The people who stormed the Capitol today are not rioters or protestors. They are terrorists. Say it with your chest or be on the wrong side of history.
Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar says she is drafting new articles of impeachment against President Trump.
"We can't allow him to remain in office, it's a matter of preserving our Republic," she said. https://t.co/cubc2e1fOY
This blistering take on Trump's DC riot by @AbcarianLAT@latimes reminds me of something I learned in church as a child: If you give the Devil a ride, sooner or later he's going to want to drive! https://t.co/OilmjrhrkT
UPDATE | Eleven people were arrested for illegal possession of pepper spray during protests at the Capitol on Wednesday, Sacramento police said. https://t.co/BvFbrt4lDw
Sen. Mitt Romney condemned today’s violence on Capitol Hill and, referring to President Trump, blamed the mob’s actions on “a selfish man’s injured pride and the outrage of his supporters whom he has deliberately misinformed for the past two months.”

Donald Trump should be removed from office immediately - he is unwilling or unable to fulfill his oath to protect and defend the Constitution.

A note to Republicans with presidential ambitions, if you vote to impeach and remove Trump, he is barred from ever holding office again. Just a thought!
Well this is a pretty good argument for DC Statehood. If DC were a state it would have a Governor. A Governor could activate the national guard. But DC is a protectorate of the federal government, essentially dependent on the folks complicit in this lil' coup. #DCStatehood
An attack on our democracy is an attack on all of us. Insurrection at the Capitol should be shocking, but sadly today’s events were not surprising if you had been listening to Trump.
Donald Trump is unfit for office. He is a clear and present danger to the United States. He should and must be removed from office forthwith, by any means available under the Constitution.
