@JKC5538 From my experience in a neurology dept, it is also prescribed to a lot of epileptic patients to offset some of the effects of their medications. There are also quite a few metabolic disorders that cause global developmental delay that this is prescribed for #prescottbiochemistry

My favorite concept to understand this semester has been the in-depth details of the citric acid cycle. I've mostly learned about glycolosis, but the subject of TCA has shown how diverse and interwoven it is with the number of inputs and outputs being used #prescottbiochemistry

@DanielGacharna1 Nice read. As Milto said, though, the decrease in mitochondrial potential would possibly be systemic. It brings to question if the therapy would be worth it, or if the therapy could be targeted to specific tumors, as glial cells are a necessary component #prescottbiochemistry
