Time of death: 3:46 PM.
The ICU fell silent. A heavy cloak of sorrow pressed down on the room.

This is Dunkin, he will be co-applying with me😌 He is excellent at chest compressions and practices on me every night, usually at 3am! Great alternative to sternal rubs in my case. He wants everyone to remember the ABCs of emergency care:
Airway
Breathing
CAT😸 scan 😜
@Dr_Oubre I've always quickly trusted doctors who routinely show small gestures of compassion and humanity towards patients and their loved ones during rounds.
Learn a spouse's name, sit down at eye level during discussions, show interest in who they are as a human and what they value.
Just finished "Every Deep Drawn Breath" by @WesElyMD - highly recommend this #humanist take on critical care. Dr. Ely is a skilled storyteller whose collection of short stories has something to offer to readers from any background. ❤
