@RayMileur1 What does he profile as? The best I could compare his game to is a less cartoony Oniel Cruz at the plate? Javier Baez I'm the outfield? The strikeouts are a legit concern. 81 k's in AAA in 231 AB's is pretty bad. I guess if they come with 35 home runs I won't say a word

@OnlyCardsFans Crooks should be the catcher the majority of the time. We think he's good enough to field and hit in the majors. Let Herrera keep getting spot starts at C but work him at other places (first?) and let Pages come in for Late game subs and the occasional spot start.

@joshjaco98 I'm high on Franklin but in no universe would I regard him higher than RR. He's got good stuff and has put up good-not-incredible stats at high-A at the age of 22. His increased walk rate is gonna be hard to keep up as a starter as well. His floor is a really good pen guy tho imo

@TyTalksBaseball @CodifyBaseball 💯 it's max effort pitching from starters. Teams know fastball velo correlates directly to lower batting averages so teams are throwing arms off every pitcher to try to juice their fastball to 97 and human arms and shoulders just aren't meant for that

@CodifyBaseball Babe Ruth's stats and legacy should come with an asterisk because he didn't play against the best talent. Are we sure that he was even the best baseball player of the 20's? Oscar Charleston, Satchel Paige, Cool Papa Bell, John Donaldson...

@OnlyCardsFans I don't think so based on where he caught the ball. Maybe if JJ is on second right here. But he would have had to run to second, turn, and fire at first against a 99tu percent runner. I'd expect VS2 to make this into a fielder's choice FWIW

@STLSprtsCntrl That's probably about right. I'm not for giving up on a guy or anything but 25 innings is enough to get your ERA below 8 I think
