@jzulgad Appears to me it’s the problem is pitching and not having a 21 year old outfielder who probably wasn’t going to play every day when Buxton was in the lineup. Looming work stoppage also had to play a role in the decision.

@Skolney79 @tlschwerz I hate to defend the Pohlad’s as they have made questionable decisions in my opinion but Ted constantly blaming everything on ownership is ridiculous. This team appears to moving forward and Zoll, Shelton and Tom Pohlad have been a part of that. Ted is exhausting!

@KreppMatt Do you expect Brooks Lee to be serviceable at Shortstop? If not the Twins will need to move on from either him, Royce Lewis or Luke Keashall in the near future. I think Keashall is the best hitter but worst defender.

@TwinsAlmanac Terry, Tom, Doug Palmer and Jeff Schugel all from New Ulm were drafted in the same year. They were the core of the 1st New Ulm Legion team to make the Legion World Series in Yakima, WA and also led the 1980 New Ulm Kaiserhoff to a Class BMinnesota State Amateur Title!
