Definitely can appreciate @DaleJr and his support to save the local racing too. I know this place is so convenient for my team to come down Friday morning stay 1 night and race Saturday and go home. Our program would race less if not for Nashville

Asked Dale Earnhardt Jr. about big picture stuff in regards to the state of Nashville Fairgrounds and what it's up against

Dale says he believes there can be a middle ground where the Fairgrounds Speedway can still exist and everyone involved in the ongoing politics of the Fairgrounds can be happy. He'd be supportive if Marcus Smith/SMI came in and got to improve the facilities, but spoke extensively about the appeal of grassroots racing in Nashville and doesn't believe the Fairgrounds' future is "NASCAR or bust"

He also stumped for putting up a sound barrier, which he believes would be a great help to the neighborhood surrounding the racetrack
