This is a critical, critical moment. But don't just take it from me. Momentum is growing, chip in $5, $10 now to keep us going: https://t.co/RTC8a5uwxg
@CityofCostaMesa 🙏 thank you. These people need treatment and quarantine in a place specially prepared for such a thing, not a non-dedicated, unprepared facility next to very densely populated area.
Also, chasing down money. It’s like being a member of the mafia trying to get payment out of some people. So when you get those good clients who give steady work and pay on time, you’ll kill yourself with deadlines trying to keep them. But that apparently makes me “neurotic.”
People have a big misconception whenever I mention what I do for work. Yesterday I said I didn’t really enjoy my job as a freelance writer, and the other person was shocked.
I’m grateful I can work from home and set my own hours to some extent, but it’s essentially gig economy. Which a new California law has made worse with caps on articles per client.
Our garden view while waiting for Little Corgi to finish another procedure. Praying this is it for him. Little guy has been through so much in his three months.
Saw someone I hadn’t seen in a few months.
Them: Oh hey, haven’t seen you since the baby was on the inside.
Now I feel like my baby needs a mafia nickname. According to my OB, it’s “Long Legs Frank.”
