Great runs again this weekend by our guys on the roads.
-Craig Harrington taking 2nd in the rolling hills of surf n’turf half marathon in Rosscarbery.
-Anthony Mannix blew a blizzard in the Banteer 5 mile to take a win in his hometown.

Lucy Holmes (West Waterford AC) racing the 800m and Rachel O’Shea in 1500m ripped up the track results today with serious PBs. Congrats on fabulous runs in season openers on the outdoor track!
A proud day for CTC at the national road relays in Raheny, as our first ever men’s and women’s teams took part in this red hot road event.
They certainly burned it up, placing 20th overall in women’s event, with men placing 12th. Kudos to all involved and the CTC fans!

Great run by Denis O’Neill in the Cobh 10 miler yesterday . On an undulating course he ran to 39th place, 1:03;59. A fine season opener on our first spring day!

Great runs by CTC gang this weekend:
- Conrad Watt was 1st male (17:03) and Rachel O’Shea (1st Female, 19:09) winning the Tramore Valley Park run. Jacqueline Hughes was second female (21:07).
-Barry Donovan (6th, 53:44), Sean Kennedy (170th, 67:40) in the Mallow 10 mile.
Today the Cork County Road Champs saw men’s team chasing victory. Great runs by all with Anthony Mannix leading the charge in 2nd overall! Roll on national road relays, proud day for club and coach @ianjosullivan @Athletics_MTU

-Patrice Holmes (Leevale & MTU) took silver in Irish Intervarsity Mountian Running Champs!
-David O’Sullivan (CTC) 21st in Cloyne Commons 4K, 15:28.

Well done to our athletes in todays All Ireland Senior Indoors Day 1. Lucy Holmes (West Waterford AC) into the 800m final & Shona O Brien leaped into the 1500m final. John Collins had fine run in his 3k heat (9.20).
Meanwhile Ben Donovan took silver in high jump!
