The other news that really pissed me off this week, was the woman who 'settled' he claim again LUAS for her own stupidity of tram-surfing, falling off, and getting injured. What a handy way to pick up half a million. It is beyond belief.
I have the fondest of memories of Pasty from landing in his back garden in a helicopter and him coming out to greet me like a scene from Biggles, to him pouring sugar from a bag into his palm and then putting it in his tea, because, "that's how the tourists like to see it"!
Greetings and salivations - no, salutations! I am truly sorry that a week after I said I would be back - I am not! I have the most dreadful chest infection that has really floored me. But fear not, by tomorrow, I could actually function to some extent.
Sam is still struggling too and is not expected to make a return until sometime next month. I hope he is not still being paid for being on death's door for so long! I only stopped by to say how deeply saddened I am that dear Patsy Dan, the King of Tory Island has died.
Hello everyone! I thought I better check in for fear that you thought we had died! We will be back here in earnest on Saturday. We wanted it to be sooner, but things got delayed with our rebuilding of our websites. Fear not, some interesting news for you all at the weekend.
@IntroMakerNET Hi guys. Your site was recommended to me a few days ago and while very impressive, it seems slightly unusual that one needs a a facebook account to contact you. Can you provide an email address please? Many thanks, Colin
Morning all. Apologies to those who kindly followed us over the last week to so, for the delay in me reciprocating. Just did it now! Day got off to a bad start - I woke up thinking it was Saturday ๐
That's a minimum of โฌ34,500. But it gets worse. The said company also has to pay RTE โฌ10,000 just for giving the stuff away. And God forbid that you would actually want to advertise during the ad breaks. That could set you back another โฌ60,000+.
What I learned today No. 1. Did you know that during that excuse of a TV programme the LL Toy Show, with your man Tupperware, that any company wanting to "give one to everyone in the audience" (metaphorically speaking), must provide 230 "gifts" worth at least โฌ150 each....
Now, serious question. Why is it that the most wonderful @KalakVodka is only available at @bradleys_offlic ?? The only place in the whole of Cork where one can buy a bottle??? It is a superb product and surely should be widely available. No offense at all to Bradley's
@jerry2623 Thanks a lot for your NCBI contact of a week or so ago. They kindly referred us to Dublin (to their library people). It is surprising that there is no braille facility in Cork, though I would bet that there is in UCC for visually impaired students. Thanks again, Colin

This might help some of you dear followers. Are you sick and tired of cookie warnings on every website you visit? Me too. So, add this to your browser. It is called 'I don't care about cookies' and should prevent their appearance for the most part. Depending on your browser....
@Patmclaughlin18@daisybruni I'll pass on your message to Sam tomorrow Pat. I think in his depression it will cheer him up hugely!! He has always spoken with great warmth of you and it says something that when in hospital he asked after you and @HangBlaa because he knew of his upcoming Camino.
Big thanks to @daisybruni for enquiring if we were still alive! We are thanks - just working hard to get some sites back on line. I hope @Patmclaughlin18 isn't lighting candles for us again! He does that you know, when he thinks we have passed on.
@MoranPaul52 Paul, did you ever see the BBC/HBO series 'Rome' from years ago? Easily the best TV series I have ever seen. There was a most wonderful, but utterly un-twitterable expression in it, which I dearly love to use as an insult.
Happiness is like a butterfly, the more you chase it, the more it will evade you, but if you turn your attention to other things around you, it will come and land gently on your shoulder. - Henry David Thoreau
To those who have enquired after Sam's well-being by DM, (and thank you for doing so), he has fallen into a bit of pit of depression. He is walking each day which helps. My son has done the same and declared he just wants to be happy. So I thought it apt to post this.....
