50 years ago today:
@LFC signed @CormackPeter from Nottingham Forest on 14 July 1972! Peter spent 4 years at #LFC and played 178 games for the Reds. He won the league twice with Liverpool (1973 and 1976), as well as UEFA Cup and FA Cup in 1973 and 1974 respectively! 🙌 🇵🇪
Great day spent with dad @CormackPeter at the beautiful @archerfieldgolf ⛳️ Despite his battles with dementia he can still play very well in the tranquil environment 🙏🏻🙌💚
My Dad @CormackPeter is fighting his own battle against dementia. Still has amazing coordination and at the age of 74 played beautifully around the golf course recently. Still so competitive and can see why he won so many winners medals 🏆 @GolfInSociety@archerfieldgolf@PFA
Amazing footage of my dad @CormackPeter as a 17 year old scoring against the mighty @realmadriden in @HibernianFC 2-0 win against the then European Champions. His MOM award was a gold Real Madrid watch which he still proudly wears 57 years on ⚽️ 👏
With heavy hearts we have decided as a family to let the football community and general public know about Dad’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis which he is bravely dealing with @HibernianFC@NFFC@LFC@BristolCity#Alzheimers https://t.co/TMPP1MK04Z
Goodness my team...and much as #PatStanton became a legend @CormackPeter was my hero. His goals against #Real and #Napoli great memories. https://t.co/XxOATw2I6D
